The app

Everything a tasbih does, and the things beads can't.

The counter

One circle. Every tap counted.

Tap anywhere on the big circle. Each dhikr is shown in Arabic with its transliteration and meaning, and the round, the total and a session timer sit right under it. Swipe, or use the arrows, to move to the next one.

SubhanAllah on the counter: round 1, total 60, the circle at 27 of 33

Library

15 adhkar built in. Add your own.

The classics, plus SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal-wakil and more. Star the ones you use to keep them at the top, open any card for its full text and meaning, and add dhikrs of your own with their own targets.

Four library cards: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar and La ilaha illallah

History

Saved as you count.

Every session is written down while you count, with its total, rounds and time. No need to press Reset first. Swipe a session away to delete it.

Four sessions in the history, the first marked Completed

Auto-counter

Let it keep count.

Set an interval, or tap your own rhythm three times, and the counter keeps going at that pace while you recite.

Lock

Made for a pocket.

Lock the screen and every button stops listening, but the auto-counter keeps counting. Press and hold the lock to open it again.

24 languages

In your own language.

The whole app follows your phone's language, or pick another in Settings. Arabic, Urdu and Persian are laid out right to left.

The details

Quiet, simple, and set up the way you count.

  • Sound and vibration

A sound you can hear and a tap you can feel on every count. Switch either off; the auto-counter has its own pair.

  • Targets and round goals

33, 99, 100 or any number per round, and a goal for how many rounds you want to finish.

  • Your own dhikrs

Write any dhikr with its own target. It joins the Library like the built-in ones.

  • Four text sizes

Make the Arabic larger or smaller, on top of your phone's own text size.

  • Keep screen on

The screen stays awake while the app is open, so a long session is never cut short.

  • Session timer

Each session is timed. Pause it, or start it over.

  • Progress at a glance

A bar under the circle shows how far through your rounds you are.

  • Stays on your phone

No account and no sign-in. Your counts, dhikrs and history are stored on the device.

Free

Dhikr+ is free and supported by ads, which appear only in the Library and History, never on the counter. A one-time purchase in Settings removes them for good.

There is no account and no sign-in. Ads are served by Google AdMob and crash reports go to Firebase Crashlytics; the privacy policy explains what that involves.
