Dhikr+ ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is accessed, how it is used, and your choices when using the App.
Dhikr+ is a digital tasbih (misbaha) and dhikr counter designed to help you count and keep track of your remembrance of Allah. Everything it counts, stores and displays stays on your device.
No Personal Information
Dhikr+ does not require account creation or login.
The App does not collect or request:

The App works fully offline. Everything you create or record while using it is written only to your own device's private app storage:
Dhikr+ requests only two permissions, and neither gives it access to your personal content.
Internet (INTERNET)
Used only to load advertisements and to send anonymous crash reports (see sections 5 and 6), and to process an in-app purchase through Google Play (see section 4). No dhikr data is ever sent over it.
Vibrate (VIBRATE)
Used only to produce the haptic feedback you feel when counting. You can turn it off at any time from the counter screen or from Settings.
The App does not request:
Dhikr+ is free to use. It offers optional in-app purchases that remove advertisements: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, and a one-time purchase. Buying any of them is entirely your choice, and every counting feature works without it.
All payments are handled by Google Play. The App never sees or stores your payment details — no card number, no billing address, no name. Google Play processes the transaction and tells the App only whether an ad-free entitlement is currently active. The App records that single yes-or-no answer on your device.
There is no account and no server: nothing about your purchase is sent to the developer.
Subscriptions renew through your Google Play account and can be viewed, changed, or cancelled at any time in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own terms.
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Ads appear in the dhikr library and the session history. There are no advertisements on the counter screen.

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) to detect and diagnose app crashes and stability issues so we can improve the App.

Crashlytics does not collect your dhikr counts, your session history, your custom dhikrs, or any personally identifiable information. This data is processed by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy:

For users in regions where privacy regulations apply (such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the App shows a consent form the first time you open it, before any advertisement is loaded.
Your choice puts you into one of three serving modes:
Your choice determines how ads may be tailored, and how the data in section 5 may be used. It does not switch advertising off: in all three modes the advertising software starts and Google collects the data described in section 5. Only the ad-free purchase stops that collection.
Where a consent form applies to you, the App's Settings screen shows an Ad privacy options row under Privacy. You can use it to review, change, or withdraw your choice at any time, and any advertisement already on screen is discarded and re-requested under your new choice. The row is shown only to users a consent form applies to, because it does nothing for anyone else.
You can also reset your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization entirely, in your Android settings.
Aside from Google AdMob (advertising) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting) described above, Dhikr+ does not use additional behavioral tracking or analytics services. The App does not track how you use it, what you count, or how often you open it.
The developer does not sell or rent your data. Your dhikr counts, custom dhikrs, session history and settings never leave your device and are never sent to the developer or to anyone else.
The App does use two Google services, and the data those services collect is transferred to Google and processed by Google as a third party:
The developer does not control how Google processes this data.
Data held on your device — your counts, rounds, custom dhikrs, session history, settings, language choice and the ad-free flag — stays there until you delete it in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall it. Uninstalling the App removes all of it.
You can delete your data from inside the App at any time: swipe a session away or use Clear History to remove your history, and use the reset action in the Dhikr Library to remove your custom dhikrs.
The developer operates no server and retains nothing about you.
Crash reports are kept by Google for a limited period; Firebase Crashlytics retains crash data for approximately 90 days. Advertising data collected by AdMob is retained and deleted according to Google's own policies, described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Because the App has no account and stores nothing about you away from your device, there is no personal data held by the developer for you to request the deletion of.
Dhikr+ is intended for adults. Its target audience on Google Play is declared as 18 and over, it is not directed at children, and it is not part of the Google Play Families programme.
The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The App collects no personal information from any user — there is no account, no profile, and no age or identity data of any kind — so there is nothing held about a minor to delete. If you believe a child has been served personalized advertising through the App, you can reset or opt out of the Advertising ID in your Android settings, or remove advertising entirely with the in-app purchase described in section 4.
The App does not store personal data on external servers. All of your dhikr data is kept in the App's own private storage on your device. Advertising and crash-reporting data are transmitted over an encrypted connection and processed by Google as described above.
